Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

TaxCalc.ie is built to respect your privacy. The calculator runs without tracking you, and we collect no personal data unless you deliberately send us a message. This page explains exactly what that means.

The calculator collects nothing about you

When you use the tax calculator, the figures you enter — your income, marital status, and so on — are used only to work out your result. We don't store, log, sell, or share them, and we don't build any profile of you. There are no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts anywhere on the site.

Cookies

The site sets a single, strictly-necessary session cookie (taxcalc_session). Its only job is to keep the contact form's spam-and-tampering protection (a security token) working. It holds no personal information, isn't used to follow you around the web, and is discarded when you close your browser. We set no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

The contact form

The only place we collect personal data is the contact form. If you choose to send a message, the name, email address, and message you provide are used solely to read and reply to you. We don't sell or share them, and we don't use them for marketing.

Third-party services

A couple of features rely on outside services:

Your rights

Because the calculator holds nothing about you, there's normally nothing to access or delete. If you've contacted us and would like to know what we hold or ask us to delete your message, just get in touch at privacy@taxcalc.ie.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if the site's features change. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
